This person will lead technical research programs involving spacecraft guidance, navigation and control systems. The candidate should have a strong background in control and spacecraft dynamics. Experience writing MATLAB, C++, and/or Java software is desirable and will be a substantial part of the job. This job includes proposal writing; published papers and proposal experience is a plus. A Masters degree in engineering is required and a PhD is preferred.
This job may be located in Albuquerque, NM, supporting the Air Force Research Lab (AFRL) at Kirtland Air Force Base. AFRL Space Vehicles Directorate is using PSS software to support their spacecraft simulation testbed. Alternate location is Princeton, NJ.
