MATLAB® Toolboxes

Princeton Satellite Systems, Inc. is a MATLAB® partner and has been providing custom toolboxes to the aerospace industry since 1995. All of our toolboxes are provided as open code - no hidden algorithms. User's Guides and APIs are accessible from the individual product pages.


Spacecraft Control Toolbox (SCT)

The Spacecraft Control Toolbox (SCT) lets you design, analyze and simulate spacecraft. This product is used worldwide by leading research and development organizations and spacecraft manufacturers. Over two thousand functions are provided for attitude and orbit dynamics, simulation, analysis and design. You can build a satellite using the graphical CAD tools; design and analyze the control systems; perform disturbance analyses and test the control system in a six degree-of-freedom simulation - all in the MATLAB environment. The SCT includes our Spacecraft Attitude and Orbit Control textbook which is also available for purchase separately.


Aircraft Control Toolbox (ACT)

The Aircraft Control Toolbox provides you with all of the tools needed to design and test control systems for aircraft and airships. The toolbox is used worldwide by leading research and industrial organizations. The latest version brings many new features, including sophisticated gas turbine engine performance and analysis tools, new aircraft models and new aircraft performance tools.


Launch Vehicle Toolbox (LVT)

The Launch Vehicle Toolbox (LVT) is our newest toolbox. Building on ACT and SCT, it provides a wide range of tools for sizing, modeling, and simulating launch vehicles. With the LVT you can assemble and analyze models of multi-stage rockets, simulate turbofan and ramjet engines, compute Newtonian aerodynamic forces from CAD files, and develop launch trajectories for both sub-orbital and Earth-orbiting missions.


Wind Turbine Control Toolbox (WCT)

The Wind Turbine Control Toolbox provides tools to design and test control systems for horizontal and vertical axis wind turbines. It includes a multibody wind turbine model, wind models including deterministic, stochastic and wind farm models, a GIS wind data interface, and electric generator models including permanent magnet, reluctance and induction.


CubeSat Toolbox

The CubeSat Toolbox is an educational product for designing CubeSats and analyzing typical CubeSat missions. The toolbox consists of the CubeSat module from the Spacecraft Control Toolbox with a subset of functions from the core toolbox; the Spacecraft Control Toolbox is not required.
